Amazing trek through the Altai Mountains!

We did a 10 day trek that started in Ulgii, went through the Altai mountains, visited some lakes, stayed in some gers, met an eagle hunter, and had an amazing trip. The hiking was fantastic. Gorgeous trek through the mountains. We were lucky to have sunshine nearly every day - got to see lots of birds, yaks, camels, horses, sheep and goats. I was incredibly impressed by Altai Nomads. The camping gear was in great shape, the chef they had on the trip with us was phenomenal (most amazing food camping - ie CREPES!), and the route was perfect. Mountains, lakes, beautiful valleys, stunning passes. It was the perfect itinerary for a 10 day trek! I'd highly recommend it for folks interested in some truly unspoilt countryside.
